This outstanding woodsy, breezy location is surrounded by 1000-ft waterfront, with water view from all sides of the summer cottage, yet trees at waterline ensure privacy. The cottage is divided in two parts; the light, airy living/dining room with stone fireplace, cathedral ceiling and skylights, kitchen and master bedroom are connected by a terrific screened, skylighted sun porch to the bathroom and two bedrooms with twin beds.

Ashumet Pond is a "multi-purpose" pond, accommodating swimmers, fishers, and all boats including row, canoe, paddle, sail, and motor boats. The nearby Audubon Holly Reservation and Sanctuary offers nature walk paths and wildlife. A public golf course (Paul Harney) is within 1 mile and bike paths are easily accessible. Short drive to grocery stores, shopping, movie theaters (3), restaurants, and ocean beaches. This is a great spot for for a laid-back, unplugged vacation. Rentals from June through September.
