NEW / IMPORTANT HEALTH PREFACE: We proudly say up front that we take very seriously our responsibility to do everything within our reach to keep everyone as safe and healthy as we can, while you have a relaxing, health-building and fun time with us!. This includes:
First of all : We only have 9 cabins /2 Suites for rent which are all private and spaced apart and in middle of 30 acres of woods & fields - so plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors without any human contact. Then, all cooking can be done in cabin and/or on grills we provide, so no need to go to any restaurants...
ALL "EXTRA FUN ACTIVITIES" ARE SAFE: Animal Adventures and Horseback Riding activities have been modified so they are totally"private" - just for you, by reservation and conducted outdoors and at "safe-distance"...
Upon each checkout, we ask all guests to cooperate in "safe-stay" procedures with 3 simple steps: (1) wash their dishes wi/disinfecting soap provided, (2) put linens in plastic bags we provide and seal , (3) take all garbage to our dumpster nearby.
Then we come in w/face masks and spray every single surface with organic disinfectant and let the cabin air out while it takes effect, then clean with disinfectant soap. All laundry is separately bagged and separately washed & dried in high heat. After cabins have been all cleaned out, we re-set beds with fresh linens and towels, new trash bags, cleaned / disinfected ac filters and filled up new coffee condiments. A final disinfecting of floors and doors are locked so no one can come in till you get here.
Our location is also ideal: Only 5 minutes from main street Boerne & close to San Antonio, yet it feels like you're a million miles away in this wonderful wooded ranch where great views of beautiful nature, unique art, your favorite music, decks, BBQ pits, smokers & BBQ grills, pick nick areas, fire pits, wood burning fireplace in the great room, horseback riding (additional discounted fee) & the best darn cooking you ever, dinners, lunches, etc. are also available a-la-carte (additional price and by reservation-only) converge to create an unforgettable getaway as well as convenient vacation-hub. Please feel free to ask us for package pricing to rent the whole house (sleeps 8-10 people) or the whole complex (6 bedrooms sleeps 18-20 people)
3 lovely themed rooms to choose from (price per bedroom, double occupancy applies) : 'Ropes & Roses:' With grandma's brass queen-sized bed surrounded by country & western antiques & original paintings of roses from 4 countries, or 'The Room For The Performing Arts' filled with antique instruments, artists' memorabilia, artwork from 5 countries, antique album covers (oh yeah, forgot to mention there's an antique record player in the great room) & a 'smart' entertainment system (Both rooms have their own smart TV & DVR) - either room for $150 per night... Or you can go for 'The Kiss' the romantic master bedroom - As the name implies, every work of art is tasteful yet sensuous, gorgeous carved Italian 4-poster bed with brand new $2,000 Therapeutic top-of-the-line mattress that vibrates, changes positions, etc. for an unbeatable relaxation, huge smart TV/DVR with full cable & a big private bath 'The Ocean' with sunken tub overlooking the woods (plus separate shower) & another dozen original paintings of the ocean to transport your imagination... for only $20 more p/night ($170). "Kiss Room has a $20.00 extra charge per night.
Want to bring family or your best friends? Take over the whole house and have the chefs at your beck & call... To sum it up, even though we are 'in the woods', we're in a very convenient location for whatever you may feel like doing.
You might ask...Why so much art? For many years we have traveled many places in the world collecting art & music along the way and now that we retired, our treasures have finally found their 'home'.

This space provides a large super-cozy vibe in a beautiful "rustic" cabin with a log-burning fireplace nestled in the woods. Entertain for hours in the kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, fully stocked, and a huge island to gather around. Sit out on the patio for peaceful views and watch the goats, chickens and donkey's graze. Or jump in the car to wineries, delicious restaurants and everything the Hill Country has to offer.

"Much more than a job or a profession, creating this Hill-Country Paradise for our Guests is our Passion!" Vicky & Micky, Owners/Proprieters
We are a "dynamic duo": Vicky is a retired public relations professional and a Mickey is a recently retired Special Forces officer, making our dream come true.
We have over 10 years preparing for this moment, including developing our gorgeous ranch and earning the National Wildlife Preserve certification, countless hours in the equestrian ring, hundreds of hours in cooking classes, etc...
Now we are having fun helping make our Guests' visits as memorable as possible, giving nature tours, "survival" lessons (great fun/group activity in the woods), horse back riding lessons, riding experiences which even the "never on a horse" can enjoy, animal feedings (our ranch animals are very friendly and very funny "hams", LOL); as well as "magical" gourmet meals made exactly as you wish - Be assured of the best super yummy foods cooked up fresh, just for you and your loved ones, (we are both gourmet chefs), Vickey also prides herself as a "mixologist" and we have been known to open up & share our private wine cellar... :-)
We do it all because we enjoy seeing happy faces appear for our Guests, which we ensure have great fun celebrating special occasions, whether anniversaries, birthdays, weddings or just much awaited family vacations
We live on the property (not too close... we have 30 acres of space, lol) and are usually available 24/7 to personally cater to you and ensure everything on our property is the place.
We do have staff thats very dedicated, but basically we will be here for you, we can wine & dine you, help you plan your day, etc... Whatever you need.
