Description
Set in a conservation area this 270 year old cottage is full of olde worlde charm. There are two bedrooms, with further sleeping accomodation in the sitting room. It is very comfortable for four persons and will accomodate up to six, using the double sofa bed. This property has been recently renovated to a high standard and has new fittings including a new kitchen and new bathroom. Summerview Cottage is approximately one mile from the busy harbour and sea front. The cottage is set on Milton Street which historically goes back to the thirteenth century. The surrounding houses are all built from the local stone and are the oldest in Brixham.
There are many attractions in and around Brixham, including lovely sandy beaches, coastal walks, National Trust properties, Paignton Zoo etc. The harbour boasts an excellent ferry service to Torquay and various other boat rides. The local steam train operates in the summer season. There are so many places to visit and only 4 miles away is the ever popular Kingswear situated on the River Dart, where you can find the Ferry across to Dartmouth and all its beautiful houses and shops. There are numerous buses to take you in and around Brixham and these are very regular and reliable. A bus stop is fifty yards in either direction from the cottage. Parking permits are available from the Tourist Infomation centres and can give you great savings on the usual car park prices.

Duvets and linen are provided, towels are available on request at £2 per week (1 bath towel and 1 hand towel ) There is no additional charge for heating or logs.
There are steps down into the sitting room, steps up into the built in wardrobe and the staircase has narrow treads and would not be considered suitable for anyone with limited mobility. Sorry, there is no cot or stair gate available.
