Once a holiday home of Beatrix Potter, the guest house is just a short walk away from Hill Top, where she made her home and wrote many of her Peter Rabbit books. The bedrooms, lounge and restaurant have stunning views across the lake of some of the best-known fells in the Lake District, including Coniston Old Man and the Langdale Pikes, as well as the extensive woodland of Grizedale Forest.
