The Octagon House Has Air Conditioning Throughout Most of the House and in all The Bedrooms :)
** Note: The Extra Room Set Up Fee is As Follows
- We charge an Additional $50 p/person p/night when there are more than 4 people (For the additional Utilities, Linens and Towels).
- We charge $100 flat rate set up fee regardless of the length of stay, when there are up to and including 4 guests.
Please let your host know in advance to make arrangements.
** Please Note Booking Restrictions:
- No Pets allowed
- No Toddlers allowed (Due to modern structure of the house, 3 stories, high catwalks, nature of the staurs etc)
- Preferably No children under 8yrs old
If you would like to include children in your booking, please let us know the ages of any children when you make a Booking Request.
Booking Acceptance is at the owner's discretion.
- Any "Event" with more than 10 people requires Owner's Approval and an Additional Area Fee
Guests can access all areas except the private office and storage room which are locked with a Do Not Enter sign on them.
There is a surcharge of 20% on Holiday weeks / weekends
The Dining Area Seats 8 People
Note: The Deck is currently being expanded in order to host outdoor wedding receptions of parties of up to 50 / 60 guests. It will be ready by May 2023. It is Uncovered.
Please ASK us about it if you are planning to use the Deck for any special occasion.

About Lucile Yaney

The Octagon Montana Rental is a unique 2-3 story geometric wonder brought to life by psychotherapists Ralph and Lucile Yaney.
Also residents of Topanga, California, where they also established the now infamous "Inn of the Seventh Ray" fine dining restaurant but also outdoor wedding venue, they share their home with those looking to seek mother nature at her purest and an opportunity to truly revive the spirit.
Part of their life has been dedicated to creating escapes for meditation and contemplation that include: The Inn, The Sanctuary (located in Roatan, Honduras) and here at The Octagon Montana Retreat, which is just 30 minutes from Yellowstone National Park.
During your stay
To help make your stay more comfortable, we’ve prepared a “Welcome” manual for you to review when you arrive. It includes important information concerning the house, including the wi-fi code, instructions on use of the appliances and our guidelines for checking out.
I live in Los Angeles. However, Denise lives nearby and will be available during office hours to assist you with any questions or concerns that may arise. You can also contact Georgie through your AirBnB message center or Cell, as she is very responsive to our guests.
