SKY Luxurious Tranquility on a Private Beach In A Protected Marine Environment
Crescent Beach has received to 2017/18 Certificates of Excellence and and more than 280 5-star ratings. We have never received a rating of less than 5 stars from our guests.
Sky is a home away from home - a 2100 sq.ft. upper-floor apartment built in 2015 with 3 bed/bath with bedrooms 2 and 3 being convertible to either KING or 2 x TWIN beds, open living, dining and kitchen area with superb sea views. Perfect for families who like quiet, remote living but with many amenities within 30 minutes driving. A second apartment, Sand, is on the ground floor and offers similar amenities. The interior is modern, tastefully decorated and well equipped for cooking and entertainment. Kitchen appliances include gas stove, microwave, double door fridge/freezer, dish washer, combo washing machine/dryer. All lighting within both Sand and Sky is LED and high efficiency central air units are easily controlled from a simple thermostat. Doors are equipped with "open" detectors which will switch off the air conditioning if a patio door is left open. Our goal has been to try to conserve energy and use it efficiently for the comfort of our guests. Master bedroom features king bed, second and third bedroom features Twin beds which can be converted to King. cots are available on request.
There is a pool, courtyard with barbeque and eating facility. The Games room is equipped with pool table; table tennis and dart board.
The home theatre is comfortably equipped with bean bags and chairs. There is a large selection of DVDs.
Situated in a protected marine zone, the coral beach is a turtle nesting site and opens onto a 200 x100 yard bay with living coral and a low-lying reef about 100 yards out. Typically, more than 500 baby turtles leave the beach for the Caribbean Sea every year. Many of our guests have witnessed hand release by us of turtles which were left behind in the nest. The coral beach has both sandy and rocky features which vary as wind and wave direction shift. Off the beach is the best snorkeling to be found close to the shore in Grand Cayman.
A variety of top local restaurants are within 10 minutes driving and one of Cayman's best diver operations is just 8 minutes away.
Sky is very elevated with the front patio and the ocean-facing balcony being 15 feet high. Tempered safety glass balusters form the railings to ensure a superb view even from inside the apartment. Stairs lead directly down to the courtyard and pool.
For larger families or for special events such as weddings or family reunions, Sand and Sky together provide six bedrooms in total for a maximum party of 12 persons. And an air mattress and cot can be provided if requested.
And with just under one acre of sandy grounds and tropical gardens, it is a perfect site for the wedding itself. Bedroom 1 is ocean-facing and features a KING bed. Bedroom 2 also faces the ocean and can be configured either as KING bed or 2 x TWIN beds. Bedroom 3 is kid-friendly with bathtub/shower, configuration as KING or 2 x TWIN beds and a coastal view.

Rate Notes
We are not permitted to provide lsnorkel gear. The snorkeling at Crescent Beach is among the best in Grand Cayman - so please bring your own snorkel, mask and flippers. We provide flotation vests which must be worn if using one of our canoes. But be aware that venturing outside of the reef is not a good idea when the wind is from the north east, east or south. You will encounter very big swells and waves breaking on the reef.
We will always try to accommodate your reasonable requests so please do not be shy - just ask. If we can meet your needs we will do so.

Check in after 3:00 PM - Check out before 11:00 AM
Children: Children allowed: ages 0–17
Events: No public events allowed without prior permission. Weddings are held at Crescent Beach.
Pets: No pets allowed
Smoking: By law, smoking is not permitted injside the aprtments..
Check-out instructions: Please complete the following before checking out:
- Start the dishwasher
- Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
- Place recycle items such as glass bottles, cans, plastics and cardboard in the recycle bins.
- Turn off the lights and lock the doors
There is no need to do any washing of sheets, pillowcases and towels - we have to wash them anyway.

Important information
You need to know:
- Apartments have 3 bedrooms - KING, 2 x TWIN or KING, and 2 x TWIN or KING. Air mattress and cot also available.
- Extra-person charges may apply for non-contractual services - for example, if an in-stay cleaning is requested for stays less than 10 days.
- Special requests are subject to availability upon check-in and may incur additional charges; special requests cannot be guaranteed
- On-site parties or group events are strictly prohibited unless pre-authorised.
- There is a carbon monoxide detector in each kitchen
- There are smoke detectors throughout eacxh apartment.
- Safety features include a fire extinguisher, a first aid kit and a deadlock
Crescent Beach has outdoor spaces, such as balconies, patios and terraces, which may not be suitable for children. We recommend that if you have any concerns,you place young children in Bedroom 3 of each apartment from which there is no external access - only a window.
