Welcome to Dream Catcher, where you will be able to experience the ambience of a natural black hills retreat. Spread over 3 spacious stories to accommodate up to 18 guests while offering plenty of amenities to satisfy your every need. Enjoy the open floor concept with high ceilings and a fireplace that spans 2 stories to the upper level overlooking the living room. The upper-level loft includes one queen bed with a 3 teared bunk bed tucked behind two large barn doors that open/close for added privacy. There are 2 private queen bedrooms upstairs as well that share a full bathroom. On the main level enjoy the fun of preparing your meals for your guests with a fully stocked kitchen. Sit at the spacious dining room table or along the island with barstool seating and discuss the days’ events. The main level also includes the master suite with dual sinks and a beautiful walk-in shower with dual shower heads. Each floor offers direct access to its full bathrooms. You will ultimately lose track of time in the lower level with family games like shuffleboard, sitting at the downstairs bar, watching movies snuggled by the fireplace, or enjoying the beautiful sunset sitting in the 8-person hot tub. Take advantage of the views and fresh mountain air sitting fireside on the lower-level walkout patio. Plenty of parking in front of and around the cabin for all your trailers and toys!
Dream catcher is located within walking distance from Terry Peak ski resort, surrounded by hiking, snowmobiling, ATV trails, and horseback riding nearby. You won’t want to miss the beautiful Spearfish Canyon where you’ll enjoy caves, hiking trails, waterfalls, and natural waterslides 10 miles from Dream Catcher. Deadwood is just 8.5 miles away as well offering gambling, tons of history, and excellent food. We’re delighted you’ve found us and are eager to welcome you to our elite selection of vacation homes! We truly feel honored for the opportunity to host you and blessed to be able to connect with all sorts of wonderful people from around the world!
We are the McCreery-Storms family. We both grew up in the same town in Nebraska, where we became engaged and uprooted to the Black Hills of South Dakota in August of 2015. We were married at Sylvan Lake and began the adventure of a lifetime. In January of 2016 , we found out we were pregnant with identical twin boys, Oakley and Finnley. After 5 months gestation, our little angels passed away due to a very rare case of “TTTS.” We conceived again later that year in October and gave birth to a handsome, healthy baby boy, Lochley, in July of 2017. After Lochley was born, we were blessed with two beautiful baby girls, Marlowe in April of 2019, and Remereigh in September of 2020.
Living in South Dakota, we decided being business owners would ultimately be the best fit for our growing family. We quickly realized there was a great need for this rapidly growing vacation rental industry. Being family owned and operated, we have the luxury of providing personable, quality care -which is of utmost importance to us. Our focus is to provide our guests with the best experience possible and are very involved in every aspect of the process. From the initial booking to our final farewell, you’ll be well taken care of, guaranteed. Our lives have been extremely blessed from our kids, family, and marriage to our now thriving business.
