With sleeping arrangements for up to 20 guests a total of 7 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, two sets of washers and dryers, and two fireplaces, no expense is spared to ensure guests are provided with the highest quality accommodations the hills have to offer. Located in Powder House Pass, a planned vacation community, complete with direct trailhead access to endless miles of groomed trails and right across the street from the club house which provides guests with a year-round heated pool, game room, fire tables, and gathering space you couldn’t ask for a better set up on your special getaway. The property provides plenty of parking for large trailers along with a heated 3 stall garage equipped with an EV charger for guests traveling on battery power. Guests are met with a grand entrance upon arrival with high cathedral ceiling, an open loft, floor to ceiling windows, and a two-story fireplace creating a welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen is fully stocked and outfitted with the latest appliances. Plenty of counter space for large meal prep is easily accessible and guests can utilize the walk-in pantry, pot filler, and double oven making cooking for bigger groups a breeze for any occasion. Plenty of natural light fills the great room capturing the beauty of the surrounding hills, with direct access to the back porch guests can grill out or simply enjoy the outdoor seating while taking in the fresh mountain air. The main level of the lodge is equipped with two private king suites each with a walk-in shower and one of the suites gives guests direct access to the back porch. The large mudroom/laundry room is also located on the main floor with utility sink and clothes hooks to organize all your belongings. Head upstairs to the loft where you can lounge and watch TV or head on back to the theatre room and enjoy your favorite movie with the whole family. The theatre is furnished with nine leather powered recliners, surround sound, and a wet bar with its own popcorn machine! There are also two king bedrooms upstairs that have a set of twin XL bunk beds within, each room upstairs can sleep 4 guests comfortably for a total of 8 guests on this floor. There are also two full sized bathrooms on the upstairs level divided by a game and book closet for hours of family-filled fun. Access to the garage from the theatre room is also available providing guests with multiple access points throughout the lodge. The remaining three bedrooms can be found downstairs with two more private king bedrooms. One of which has a full bathroom ensuite and direct access to the back patio. The other king bedroom shares a full bathroom with the bunkroom which sleeps a total of 4 guests on its twin XL beds. More entertainment space is offered to guests with an additional wet bar, mini fridge, and living room. Access to the seven-person hot tub is found on the back porch with additional outdoor furniture. Guests can expect TVs in every room as well as high speed Wi-Fi, and two fire tables. A pack n play and portable highchair are also provided! Plenty of extra charging ports can be found throughout the home for guest convenience as well. A foosball table located downstairs, and corn hole boards located in the garage are available for guest use throughout your stay for friendly competitions among the whole group! We are the McCreery-Storms family. We both grew up in the same town in Nebraska, where we became engaged and uprooted to the Black Hills of South Dakota in August of 2015. We were married at Sylvan Lake and began the adventure of a lifetime. In January of 2016 , we found out we were pregnant with identical twin boys, Oakley and Finnley. After 5 months gestation, our little angels passed away due to a very rare case of “TTTS.” We conceived again later that year in October and gave birth to a handsome, healthy baby boy, Lochley, in July of 2017. After Lochley was born, we were blessed with two beautiful baby girls, Marlowe in April of 2019, and Remereigh in September of 2020.
Living in South Dakota, we decided being business owners would ultimately be the best fit for our growing family. We quickly realized there was a great need for this rapidly growing vacation rental industry. Being family owned and operated, we have the luxury of providing personable, quality care -which is of utmost importance to us. Our focus is to provide our guests with the best experience possible and are very involved in every aspect of the process. From the initial booking to our final farewell, you’ll be well taken care of, guaranteed. Our lives have been extremely blessed from our kids, family, and marriage to our now thriving business.
