From the moment you arrive, you know you chose well. Your entry is framed by a gentle waterfall that spills into a reflection pool beneath a stone walkway, guiding you to the handcrafted wooden front door. Inside, hand-laid stone inlays accent the floors, while designer hacienda furniture, original oils and watercolors, antique tapestries, and curated artwork create a gallery-like ambiance throughout the home.
The chef’s kitchen is fully equipped with professional-grade appliances—from the cooktop to the Vitamix blender—making it effortless to prepare gourmet meals or sunset cocktails. Custom, oversized copper lanterns from Carolina Lanterns softly illuminate the entry, pool deck, and terraces, setting a warm, elegant glow as day turns to night.
Over 90% of the rear façade is composed of pocketing glass doors that disappear completely, opening the villa to more than 4,500 square feet of purpose-built outdoor living space. David & Dianne Stephens..We met while attending college and competing in Track & Field for Cal State Northridge. David competed in the Javelin Throw and High Jump and Dianne ran the 10,000 Meters. They both graduated in 1986 and in 1987 moved to Knoxville Tennessee where Dianne earned her Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology and David coached and trained UT High Jumpers and Javelin Throwers. Dianne is an ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) certified personal trainer...let us know if you want to take a small group to Cabo for a 'Top Shelf' fitness vacation. David continued his Track & Field career and competed for the New York Athletic Club internationally from 1987 through 1996 making several USA teams including 1988 and 1996 Olympic Teams. David, Dianne and their 5 children now reside in Northern Virginia where David is the Chief Sales Officer of BYOS, Inc. and Dianne runs their vacation rental business.

Casa Contessa is located on a quiet cul-de-sac street with no connected neighboring homes on the West, North, and South sides of the property. Contessa's close proximity to the Esperanza Resort and walk-to amenities including restaurants, our beach-club & gym, groomed walking trail, 1/2 court basketball hoop, tennis courts & new pickle ball courts.
