We bought the land in 2007 and completed the cottage in 2011. We plan to retire here one day. We currently live and work in Chicagoland and enjoy spending time at the cottage during the off season.
We fell in love with this location immediately due to it's privacy and proximity to all that South Haven, Fennville, Saugatuck/Douglas and beyond have to offer. The cottage itself was built to spec and we take pride in maintaining and managing it ourselves.
What makes this Cottage unique
We love the convenience of the beach nearby and the sunsets are simply spectacular! We love seeing nature outside our doorstep like deer, red fox, bunnies and birds of all kinds. Star gazing at night; napping in the hammock by day; taking long walks along the beach have become pasttimes. We have favorite restaurants, farmers markets and local business owners that make us feel like a part of the community which is so welcoming in South Haven
