Hi! We’re your hosts, Joe & Josie, owners of Hernando Hideaway. We’re a husband and wife team, originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania. We invested in Hernando Hideaway (our first vacation rental property) in 2021. We spent a year fully renovating the home, and we’re truly excited for this new adventure!
We had our sights set on coastal property in an area that still had a small town feel. We fell in love with Hernando Beach, FL for the fresh seafood, the boating community, the locally owned restaurants, and of course, the weather. We are parents to a young son, thus we are passionate about creating a welcoming, safe, five-star, family-friendly waterfront vacation experience. We live in Michigan with our son and two dogs.
We love traveling and can't wait to travel more, once our son is older. Our favorite travel destination is Italy. We are foodies! We enjoy trying new restaurants and wines.
