Born on a farm in Sevier County, Tennessee, she was inspired very early by the beauty of nature and has been into art as long as she can remember.. She has no formal training, and paints what she feels as well as what she sees. Much of her work is by memory of her childhood. She lives in Cosby, Tennessee, very happily on her few acres of paradise. Besides the little cabins, she has a small art studio and showroom overlooking the creek, filled with oil paintings of this area, and open to the public from 10AM to 6PM every day except Tuesdays.
